Zipcar is proud to be sponsoring “Buck Beers” for the first 50 Zipcar members to show their Zip cards on Earth Day at the Pike Pub’s Happy Hour (4-6pm).

Zipcar will cover the difference ($2.50 for the pint + $1.00 tip) per beer, so members pay only $1* – but the Pike still gets full cost toward their energy retrofits!

Zipcar will also be offering a $150 gift certificate to be raffled off to anyone who enters the drawing that day.

Seattle Greendrinks has partnered with the Pike Pub & Brewery to produce Seattle’s first Carrotmob event! On April 22nd (Earth Day), ALL DAY, 25% of all sales at the Pike Pub will go back into the store in the form of energy retrofits and other improvements to improve the pub’s efficiency, reduce its waste, and more; in short, we’ll make it a greener pub.

What does this mean? It means: celebrate Earth Day with lunch, happy hour and/or dinner at the Pike Pub on April 22nd, and 25% of all sales made that day – on everything – will go back into the store in the form of efficiency improvements, green upgrades, and the like. You, WE, can have an impact! Our buying power can reduce waste, provide efficiencies, and make a better planet – while enjoying a good beer & meal.
